LiFePO4 batteries sized for Pakistani power conditions

Load shedding, high ambient temperatures, and a mix of lead-acid systems installed over the last decade. We supply LiFePO4 that fits those three realities — drop-in replacements that keep your existing inverter and brackets, and packs built for daily cycling rather than occasional backup.

  • MOQ 10 pieces
  • Samples with test reports
  • UN38.3 & MSDS included
  • Mixed containers welcome
  • Karachi & Port Qasim delivery
  • Reply within 24 hours

Why batteries fail in Pakistan, and what to specify instead

Three issues come up repeatedly in the market. Each has a specification response, and we build our recommendations around them rather than quoting a generic catalogue item.

Load shedding is daily, not occasional

Most lead-acid banks in the market were sized for occasional backup. Cycled daily at 50% depth of discharge they lose capacity within a year or two. LiFePO4 tolerates daily deep cycling, which changes the sizing maths — you need fewer cycles' worth of capacity for the same autonomy.

Summer heat shortens battery life

Lead-acid capacity falls sharply above 35 °C, and indoor cabinets in Lahore, Karachi and Faisalabad routinely exceed that. LiFePO4 keeps more of its rated capacity in heat, and paired with a controlled charge voltage it holds up considerably better in the same installation.

Installed lead-acid systems are everywhere

Most households and shops already have 12 V lead-acid, AGM or gel batteries on a shelf with fixed brackets and existing wiring. A drop-in 12.8 V replacement means no bracket changes, no rewiring, no downtime beyond the swap itself.

Requirements

Compliance and shipping

Lithium shipments are regulated differently from lead-acid, and importers who have not handled UN38.3 before can lose weeks at customs. We prepare the documentation so that does not happen to you.

UN38.3

Transport summary test report issued with every lithium battery consignment.

CE / IEC62619

Cell and pack level conformity documentation for the relevant product lines.

MSDS

Safety data sheet supplied with every consignment, as required for import clearance.

Sea freight

Exported to Karachi and Port Qasim. Lead time and freight quoted with your order, not after it.

Mixed containers are normal here

Pakistani distributors typically do not want a single product. A common first order is 12.8 V household batteries plus several 5 kWh wall-mounted units, or a split between e-bike packs and forklift batteries. Tell us the mix and quantities and we will plan the container around volume so your freight cost per unit stays low.

How we handle it

  • 10–20 pcs test batch to start
  • Consolidation across product lines
  • Landed cost on request
  • Factory audit before volume orders

Questions

Pakistan market FAQ

Can I buy just a few batteries to start with?

Yes. MOQ starts at 10 pieces, and we ship samples with cycle-test reports so you can verify performance before committing to a larger order. Many Pakistani buyers start with a 10–20 unit test batch before placing a container order.

Will a 12.8 V LiFePO4 battery work with my existing inverter?

In most cases yes. Our 12.8 V (4S) packs are dimensionally and terminal-compatible with common 12 V lead-acid, AGM and gel batteries, so existing brackets and wiring carry over. You will need to confirm your inverter's charge voltage profile matches a 4S LiFePO4 charge cutoff of around 14.6 V. Send us your inverter brand and model and we will confirm compatibility before you order.

How do these batteries behave in Pakistani summer heat?

LiFePO4 chemistry is generally better suited to high ambient temperatures than lead-acid, which loses capacity quickly in heat. Operating range is approximately 0–45 °C for charging and −20–60 °C for discharging. For installations in direct sun or unventilated cabinets we recommend specifying an insulated enclosure and, where the load allows, a charging profile with a reduced upper voltage limit.

What shipping documents are included?

Every consignment ships with UN38.3 transport summary test report and MSDS. CE and IEC62619 conformity documentation is available for the relevant products, and UL1973 applies to stationary storage packs supplied to North America. We prepare the export documentation ourselves and can also provide landed-cost quotations if you prefer to work on a delivered-basis price.

How long does production and delivery take?

Samples usually ship within a week. For container quantities, production lead time is typically 15–25 days depending on configuration, followed by sea freight to Karachi or Port Qasim. We will give you a committed timeline with the quotation rather than an estimate.

Can you supply a mixed container rather than a single product?

Yes. Many distributors consolidate several lines — for example 12.8 V household batteries plus a number of 5 kWh wall-mounted units plus e-bike packs. Tell us the mix and the quantities and we will plan the loading around container space to keep your freight cost per unit down.
