Why 51.2 V 100 Ah is the high-voltage standard
A 51.2 V 100 Ah module delivers 5.12 kWh in one cabinet. That is the practical building block for home storage: single-unit installations for essential-load backup, three-unit cabinets for whole-home 15 kWh, and up to six units for 30 kWh. 51.2 V also matches the DC bus of the common 48–60 V inverter range, so one battery platform covers a wide spread of installed inverter base.

Inverter compatibility
Send us your inverter brand and model and we will confirm the correct BMS protocol before shipment. Inverter communication is the single most common cause of a system that shows "not communicating" on first power-up — matching the protocol at order time avoids it.
- Victron MultiPlus / Victron SmartShunt
- Pylontech battery — US2000 / US5000 protocol
- Growatt, GoodWe, Deye, Solis, SMA, Fronius, Sungrow hybrid inverters

Buyer FAQ
51.2V 100Ah Battery — Questions We Get Asked
Which inverters is a 51.2V 100Ah battery compatible with?
The module speaks CAN and RS485. In practice it works with Victron, Pylontech (US2000/US5000 protocol), Growatt, GoodWe, Deye, Solis, SMA, Fronius and Sungrow hybrid inverters. Send us your exact inverter brand and model before ordering and we will confirm the BMS protocol at the factory, so the system reports correctly on first power-up instead of showing a communication fault.
How many 51.2V 100Ah batteries do I need for my home?
One unit gives 5.12 kWh, enough for essential-load backup on a small home. Two units (10.24 kWh) cover a whole home with PV charging, and three units (15.36 kWh) suit a 3–5 kW inverter running a normal evening load. Six units is the maximum in one cabinet at 30.72 kWh. Tell us your inverter size, daily consumption or outage duration and we will size it for you.
Can I stack 51.2V 100Ah batteries in parallel without a matching BMS?
No. Every paralleled unit must share the same BMS firmware, capacity and communication address, otherwise the units drift and the strongest unit ends up over-currenting. We supply the parallel harness, the CAN cable and the correct addressing from the factory, which is why the modules ship as a matched set.
Is a 51.2V 100Ah LiFePO4 battery worth it compared with lead-acid for home storage?
On total cost, yes. A lead-acid bank needs replacing every 3–5 years, so a 5.12 kWh bank can be replaced twice in ten years. A 5.12 kWh LiFePO4 module lasts 6,000+ cycles and carries a 10-year design life, so the battery cost per usable kWh typically falls by more than half once replacement cycles are counted. It also keeps about 95% of rated capacity through a power cut, where lead-acid voltage sags under high load.
What enclosure options are available for a 51.2V 100Ah module?
Three standard formats: 19-inch rack mount for existing server-style installations, wall mount for utility rooms and garages, and a floor-standing tower frame for installations without rack space. Outdoor IP54 and IP65 cabinets are available for unheated external installations. OEM housings with your own colour and logo are quoted from 200 units.
